Annual Diwali event
Our annual Diwali event is scheduled to be held on Saturday October 26 2024 at the Miller Elementary School in Holliston.
One of the largest events in the town and is attended by more than 400 people every year.
Join us to celebrate the festival with the family, friends, and the community and enjoy the performances from the local talents, with exquisite decor and delicious food.
Festival of Lights 2024
Festival of Lights, an annual event organized by the Town of Ashland and Ashland Indians, will be held on Sunday, October 20 2024 at The Corner Spot, Ashland MA.
Free event for all to attend.
This is a premier event, bringing together the entire town to celebrate the festive season of the community with art competitions, cultural performances, and food.

Annual Picnic 2024
Our annual picnic event is happening on Saturday, June 15 2024 at Ashland State Park pavilion from 11a to 4p.
Free event and all are welcome.
This is a potluck event. We request all the attendees to bring an item (minimum for 10 people) to share. Thank you.

Town of Ashland and Ashland Indians proudly present the “Festival of Lights 2022” event to celebrate the Diwali festival season symbolizing the victory of light over dark and the knowledge over ignorance.

India Independence Day
Ashland Indians, in collaboration with the Town of Ashland and IAGB, is hosting an event on August 15, 2021 to celebrate India's 75th Independence Day by hoisting India's Tricolor flag at Stone Park in Ashland. Start time is at 8am and the duration is expected to be about 30-45 minutes.
We recommend following the latest health and distancing guidelines for all the participants of this event.

As the social distancing guidelines expected to continue till the summer, we are bringing the entertainment to your home directly and the community together virtually.
We are launching our popular entertainment series, Weekend Web Series, for 2021. First in the series is the most popular program, Bollywood Quiz on Jan 23.

This event follow the social distancing guidelines from the Town and the State. Masks are mandatory for all persons above the age of 2. All visitors and participants must practice social distancing by staying 6 feet away from others and adhering to all site-specific rules, regulations, and posted signage regarding permitted uses. Bring your own gloves and hand sanitizers, as needed, and wash your hands regularly. Expect limited or no trash disposal options and adhere to a strict "Carry in, Carry out" policy for the waste. Any changes to the event, including cancellation, will be notified.

Cooking skills Showcase
Calling on all the chefs in the community!! You may be a rookie or an expert or somewhere in between.
All you have to do is to make a dish using the ingredient of the week and post the cooking video (max about 5 minutes).
Send the videos (and the name of the dish) to our email id or post them on our facebook page and tag us in your post. Best ones will be posted on our website and referenced everywhere.

Weekend Web Series - Quiz on Mahabharata
Weekend Web Series from Ashland Indians is created to bring together the community virtually during this difficult time.
This week we are organizing an entertaining quiz on the Indian epic, Mahabharata. This will be hosted by Anurag Dhavala, who has been teaching kids with the short stories around the Indian epics for years.

Covid19 Community Support
COVID19 pandemic is is an unprecedented event impacting everyone in our society. We have started our support drive to help local Ashland groups, financially and otherwise, that are supporting the town residents and the people in need in this difficult time.
